For a lot of musicians they hit their late 20's and the pressure gets to be too much. They quit. They start searching for a “real job”. It was around this age that Mattie decided to double down on music.  He wrote the songs for Terrace not knowing if he'd have a band to play them with. A collection of songs that stood up on their own with just the bare minumum; a voice and a guitar or piano. 

“Just You” is still a staple in his live set and has been a favourite for first dances at weddings.
